The Singapore Bangsawan Festival at Our Tampines Hub (The Space, Level 2) is a fun and interactive event designed for families to explore the magic of Bangsawan together. Through engaging workshops and lively performances, parents and children can experience the rich storytelling, music, and theatrical traditions of this art form.

A Fun & Interactive Experience for Children

The Singapore Bangsawan Festival at Pasir Ris Elias Community Club invites children to discover the magic of Bangsawan through exciting workshops, interactive performances, and a special showcase by young talents from Opera Academy.

Children will have the opportunity to take part in 'Singapura Dilanggar Todak', an interactive Bangsawan performance where they can step into the story and act alongside professional performers. They will also enjoy Bangsawan Burung Bulbul (The Nightingale), presented by children from Opera Academy, and participate in a fun workshop that introduces them to the art of Malay opera. This festival is the perfect way for young participants to build confidence, creativity, and a love for cultural heritage.
